{"id":32509,"date":"2026-03-19T12:56:37","date_gmt":"2026-03-19T12:56:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/expresorgv.online\/home\/?p=32509"},"modified":"2026-03-19T12:56:39","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T12:56:39","slug":"inician-mexico-y-eu-conversaciones-sobre-t-mec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expresorgv.online\/home\/blog\/2026\/03\/19\/inician-mexico-y-eu-conversaciones-sobre-t-mec\/","title":{"rendered":"Inician M\u00e9xico y EU conversaciones sobre T-MEC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El secretario de Econom\u00eda, <strong>Marcelo Ebrard<\/strong>, inform\u00f3 que <strong>M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos iniciaron formalmente las discusiones del T-MEC<\/strong> este 18 de marzo de 2026, como parte del proceso previo a la <strong>revisi\u00f3n del acuerdo comercial trilateral<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las conversaciones se desarrollan en Washington D.C. y marcan el arranque de una nueva etapa en la relaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica entre ambas naciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ebrard detall\u00f3 que sostuvo reuniones con Jamieson Greer, titular de la Oficina del Representante Comercial de Estados Unidos, para iniciar los trabajos de revisi\u00f3n del Tratado entre M\u00e9xico, Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El funcionario se\u00f1al\u00f3 que <strong>equipos t\u00e9cnicos de ambos pa\u00edses trabajar\u00e1n de manera continua<\/strong> durante los primeros d\u00edas de negociaci\u00f3n, con el objetivo de establecer bases s\u00f3lidas para el proceso de revisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sostuvimos conversaciones con el Embajador Jamieson Greer, titular de USTR y su equipo, para iniciar discusiones respecto a la revisi\u00f3n del TMEC. Los equipos t\u00e9cnicos estar\u00e1n trabajando hoy y ma\u00f1ana a lo largo del d\u00eda\u201d, destac\u00f3 Ebrard en sus redes sociales.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plan avalado por Sheinbaum y enfoque estrat\u00e9gico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El plan de trabajo fue aprobado por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, quien instruy\u00f3 avanzar bajo un enfoque de <strong>\u201ccabeza fr\u00eda y firmeza\u201d<\/strong> frente a un entorno internacional complejo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La estrategia mexicana busca <strong>garantizar la permanencia del acuerdo comercial<\/strong> y avanzar en la <strong>eliminaci\u00f3n de aranceles<\/strong>, en un contexto marcado por pol\u00edticas proteccionistas impulsadas durante la administraci\u00f3n de Donald Trump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de las reuniones presenciales, equipos t\u00e9cnicos de ambos pa\u00edses sostuvieron encuentros virtuales para definir la agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por parte de M\u00e9xico, los trabajos fueron encabezados por Luis Rosendo Guti\u00e9rrez, en coordinaci\u00f3n con sus contrapartes estadounidenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este proceso preparatorio permiti\u00f3 alinear posiciones y delimitar los <strong>temas prioritarios de negociaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ejes clave en la revisi\u00f3n del T-MEC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con la Secretar\u00eda de Econom\u00eda, la primera ronda de discusiones se centrar\u00e1 en tres puntos estrat\u00e9gicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El primero busca <strong>reducir la dependencia comercial de Am\u00e9rica del Norte respecto a Asia<\/strong>, en l\u00ednea con las preocupaciones sobre el d\u00e9ficit comercial y la relocalizaci\u00f3n de cadenas productivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El segundo eje corresponde a las <strong>reglas de origen<\/strong>, un tema clave en el comercio global, donde cada vez cobra mayor relevancia determinar <strong>d\u00f3nde se producen los bienes<\/strong>, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de su costo, especialmente en el mercado estadounidense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El tercer punto, aunque no detallado ampliamente en esta fase inicial, est\u00e1 vinculado al <strong>fortalecimiento de las cadenas de suministro regionales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proceso fue activado oficialmente el pasado 5 de marzo por la Oficina del Representante Comercial de Estados Unidos, que anunci\u00f3 el inicio de las consultas bilaterales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambos pa\u00edses acordaron sostener <strong>reuniones presenciales durante esta semana<\/strong>, como parte de la preparaci\u00f3n rumbo a la revisi\u00f3n conjunta del tratado en 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El secretario de Econom\u00eda, Marcelo Ebrard, inform\u00f3 que M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos iniciaron formalmente las discusiones del T-MEC este 18 de marzo de 2026, como parte del proceso previo a la revisi\u00f3n del acuerdo comercial trilateral.
