Con el objetivo de mejorar la detecci\u00f3n, tratamiento y seguimiento de ni\u00f1as, ni\u00f1os y adolescentes<\/strong> que enfrentan el c\u00e1ncer en nuestro pa\u00eds, la Secretar\u00eda de Salud present\u00f3 oficialmente el Registro Nacional de C\u00e1ncer-M\u00f3dulo de Pediatr\u00eda.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dicho censo, en cuya elaboraci\u00f3n participaron todas las instituciones del sector salud y diversas organizaciones de la sociedad civil, tiene el objetivo inicial de contabilizar entre 3 mil y 5 mil casos estimados al a\u00f1o, antes de expandirse a la poblaci\u00f3n adulta, considerando que el c\u00e1ncer es la tercera causa de muerte en nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante el evento, David Kershenobich, secretario de Salud, reiter\u00f3 el compromiso gubernamental por transformar los datos en acciones concretas en beneficio de los pacientes.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

El registro permitir\u00e1 tener estad\u00edsticas claras sobre el comportamiento del c\u00e1ncer en M\u00e9xico, identificar factores de riesgo y diversificar el manejo cl\u00ednico seg\u00fan las etapas de la enfermedad\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

El funcionario advirti\u00f3 que desaf\u00edos como \u201cel envejecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n y el diagn\u00f3stico tard\u00edo en ni\u00f1os\u201d hacen indispensable contar con informaci\u00f3n precisa para avanzar en tratamientos y aumentar el tiempo de vida, especialmente entre los grupos m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, el director general del IMSS, Zo\u00e9 Robledo, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que en el Seguro Social, m\u00e1s de 440 ni\u00f1os han logrado vencer el c\u00e1ncer sin tener que salir de sus estados de origen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que este registro nacional debe convertirse en un faro de esperanza para las familias mexicanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este registro nacional de c\u00e1ncer debe ser visto como un mapa de esperanza, no como una simple base de datos. Debe humanizar los n\u00fameros\u00bb, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n, el director general del IMSS-Bienestar, Alejandro Svarch, destac\u00f3 los beneficios inmediatos del nuevo registro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
