Se menciona que las mujeres habr\u00edan sido presentadas a Van Damme como un \u201cregalo\u201d durante un evento en <strong>Cannes<\/strong> que el actor organiz\u00f3. Sin embargo, no se ha especificado la fecha exacta de los presuntos hechos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El abogado Adri\u00e1n Cuculis, quien representa a una de las v\u00edctimas, explic\u00f3 que las mujeres se encontraban en una situaci\u00f3n de vulnerabilidad, sospech\u00e1ndose que eran explotadas conforme al art\u00edculo 182 del C\u00f3digo Penal rumano. Cuculis indic\u00f3 que, en el evento de Cannes, varios individuos vinculados a la creaci\u00f3n de un <strong>grupo criminal<\/strong> y al<strong> proxenetismo<\/strong> ofrecieron a Van Damme las cinco mujeres rumanas, quienes trabajaban como <strong>modelos fotogr\u00e1ficas<\/strong> en <strong>Ruman\u00eda.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cLas personas que le ofrecieron esas mujeres conoc\u00edan su condici\u00f3n, y seg\u00fan los testimonios, queda claro que Van Damme estaba al tanto de que estas mujeres estaban siendo explotadas\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 Cuculis.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las mujeres que presenci\u00f3 los hechos presuntamente ocurridos en Cannes denunci\u00f3 lo sucedido a los fiscales, lo que llev\u00f3 a la DIICOT a abrir una investigaci\u00f3n criminal. Debido a que los supuestos incidentes se habr\u00edan llevado a cabo en Francia, ahora el <strong>Tribunal Superior de Casaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de ese pa\u00eds debe autorizar el inicio de un proceso penal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si se identifican a los presuntos responsables, ser\u00e1n citados a Ruman\u00eda para declarar.
