{"id":17540,"date":"2024-11-01T04:45:53","date_gmt":"2024-11-01T04:45:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/expresorgv.online\/home\/?p=17540"},"modified":"2024-11-01T04:45:54","modified_gmt":"2024-11-01T04:45:54","slug":"alertan-por-aumento-de-casos-de-hepatitis-c-y-vih-en-nuevo-laredo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expresorgv.online\/home\/blog\/2024\/11\/01\/alertan-por-aumento-de-casos-de-hepatitis-c-y-vih-en-nuevo-laredo\/","title":{"rendered":"Alertan por aumento de casos de hepatitis C y VIH en Nuevo Laredo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La situaci\u00f3n de salud p\u00fablica relacionada con el VIH y las hepatitis C en Nuevo Laredo presenta cifras preocupantes, seg\u00fan el informe de Juan Francisco Ortiz Brizuela, responsable jurisdiccional del programa VIH-SIDA e Infecciones de Transmisi\u00f3n Sexual del Centro Ambulatorio para la Prevenci\u00f3n y Atenci\u00f3n en SIDA e Infecciones de Transmisi\u00f3n Sexual (CAPASITS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la actualidad, se tiene registro de 375 casos de VIH bajo control en el centro, mientras que desde su apertura se han atendido un total de mil 200 pacientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El incremento en la detecci\u00f3n de hepatitis C es notable, con aproximadamente 100 pruebas r\u00e1pidas realizadas este a\u00f1o, de las cuales 60 han sido confirmadas. De estos, alrededor de 45 pacientes han iniciado tratamiento. Desde 2020, el programa nacional para la detecci\u00f3n y erradicaci\u00f3n de hepatitis C ha permitido que cerca de 200 casos hayan sido tratados en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El impacto de estas cifras es significativo, ya que m\u00e1s del 50 por ciento de las 13 muertes reportadas este a\u00f1o corresponden a pacientes diagnosticados en etapas avanzadas de la enfermedad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ortiz Brizuela enfatiz\u00f3 que muchos de estos fallecimientos podr\u00edan haberse evitado con una detecci\u00f3n y tratamiento m\u00e1s tempranos. La falta de albergues para pacientes tambi\u00e9n es un factor cr\u00edtico; el albergue Madre Teresa de Calcuta cerr\u00f3 sus puertas, dejando a los pacientes con pocas opciones de apoyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ante esta realidad, las autoridades sanitarias instan a la poblaci\u00f3n a realizarse pruebas de detecci\u00f3n y a adherirse a tratamientos disponibles.
