El Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores indic\u00f3 que la Confederaci\u00f3n suiza asume esta tarea a petici\u00f3n de los dos pa\u00edses latinoamericanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Suiza<\/strong> confirm\u00f3 este lunes que <strong>representar\u00e1 los intereses<\/strong> de <strong>M\u00e9xico<\/strong> ante Ecuador y los de <strong>Ecuador<\/strong> ante M\u00e9xico, a <strong>petici\u00f3n<\/strong> de estos pa\u00edses y en funci\u00f3n de sendos acuerdos suscritos en Berna el pasado d\u00eda 15 y hoy mismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores<\/strong> indic\u00f3 que la Confederaci\u00f3n suiza asume esta tarea a petici\u00f3n de los dos pa\u00edses latinoamericanos, que <strong>rompieron relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas<\/strong> tras la irrupci\u00f3n de la polic\u00eda ecuatoriana en la Embajada de M\u00e9xico en Quito para detener al exvicepresidente <strong>Jorge Glas<\/strong>, quien hab\u00eda buscado refugio en esta legaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUno de los buenos oficios que ofrece Suiza es el mandato de poder protector\u201d, dijo el Ministerio, que precis\u00f3 que <strong>asumir\u00e1<\/strong> algunas de las <strong>funciones diplom\u00e1ticas y consulares<\/strong> requeridas por Ecuador y M\u00e9xico, \u201clo que les permitir\u00e1 mantener un <strong>nivel m\u00ednimo de relaciones<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suiza tiene mucha experiencia cumpliendo ese rol y los de M\u00e9xico y Ecuador se sumar\u00e1n a los cinco que ya cumple con otros pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/editorial.aristeguinoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Barcena-SRE-ecuador-Suiza-conlficto-ecuador-salvaguardar-intereses-240624.jpeg?ssl=1\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/editorial.aristeguinoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Barcena-SRE-ecuador-Suiza-conlficto-ecuador-salvaguardar-intereses-240624-700x525.jpeg?resize=640%2C480&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-1400099\">Redes: X (SRE_mx)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente, <strong>Suiza representa los intereses<\/strong> de Ir\u00e1n en Egipto desde 1979, los de Estados Unidos en Ir\u00e1n desde 1980, los de Rusia en Georgia y los de Georgia en Rusia desde 2009, as\u00ed como los intereses de Ir\u00e1n en Canad\u00e1 desde 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Gobierno de M\u00e9xico suscribe acuerdo con Suiza para salvaguardar sus intereses en Ecuador.
