alta instancia judicial de Naciones Unidas, <strong>desestim\u00f3 <\/strong>el pedido presentado por <strong>M\u00e9xico <\/strong>de <strong>medidas provisorias <\/strong>urgentes contra <strong>Ecuador <\/strong>por la invasi\u00f3n de su embajada en Quito, en abril.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abLa Corte considera en forma un\u00e1nime que las circunstancias, tal como se presentan ahora ante la Corte, no son tales que requieran el ejercicio de su facultad (&#8230;) de indicar medidas\u00bb provisorias, ley\u00f3 el presidente del tribunal, el juez <strong>Nawaf Salam<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No obstante, destac\u00f3 \u201cla importancia fundamental del principio consagrado\u201d en la <strong>Convenci\u00f3n de Viena<\/strong> sobre Relaciones Diplom\u00e1ticas, en un fallo que se produce en una fase provisional del caso, cuando el tribunal no ha entrado a\u00fan en el fondo del procedimiento legal contra Ecuador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las medidas provisionales que M\u00e9xico present\u00f3 inclu\u00edan: garantizar la protecci\u00f3n y seguridad de las instalaciones diplom\u00e1ticas de M\u00e9xico en Ecuador; permitir que M\u00e9xico despeje sus instalaciones y la residencia privada de sus agentes diplom\u00e1ticos; asegurar que Ecuador no tome acciones que perjudiquen los derechos de M\u00e9xico durante el proceso; y exhortar a Ecuador a abstenerse de cualquier acci\u00f3n que agrave la disputa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En referencia a hechos del 5 de abril de 2024, Ecuador argument\u00f3 que estos \u201cconstituyeron un incidente aislado que tuvo lugar en circunstancias muy excepcionales y ten\u00eda el \u00fanico objetivo de llevar al Sr. Glas Espinel ante la justicia\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div
