{"id":11859,"date":"2024-03-25T05:58:01","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T05:58:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/expresorgv.online\/home\/?p=11859"},"modified":"2024-03-25T05:58:02","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T05:58:02","slug":"confirman-segunda-muerte-por-sindrome-de-guillain-barre-en-tlaxcala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expresorgv.online\/home\/blog\/2024\/03\/25\/confirman-segunda-muerte-por-sindrome-de-guillain-barre-en-tlaxcala\/","title":{"rendered":"Confirman segunda muerte por s\u00edndrome de Guillain-Barr\u00e9 en Tlaxcala"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Una segunda persona falleci\u00f3 en <strong>Tlaxcala<\/strong> por el <strong>s\u00edndrome de Guillain-Barr\u00e9,<\/strong> confirmaron las autoridades sanitarias de la entidad, que ha estado en alerta por el aumento de casos en las \u00faltimas semanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El hombre de 65 a\u00f1os falleci\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles en el <strong>Hospital General de Zona 1 del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS),<\/strong> en el Municipio de Tlaxcala, a consecuencia de deterioro respiratorio con deterioro hemodin\u00e1mico asociado con la enfermedad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inicialmente, fue ingresado al centro de salud por una <strong>poli neuropat\u00eda desmielinizante inflamatoria<\/strong> sugestiva de Guillain-Barr\u00e9. Pese a que recib\u00eda tratamiento, falleci\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles, confirm\u00f3 el Gobierno de Tlaxcala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mi\u00e9rcoles, el titular de la Secretar\u00eda de Salud del estado, <strong>Rigoberto Zamudio<\/strong>, dio a conocer sobre la muerte de un hombre de 48 a\u00f1os a causa del padecimiento, convirti\u00e9ndose en el primer caso en la entidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>enfermedad<\/strong> se ha registrado en 25 de los 60 municipios de Tlaxcala y actualmente hay por lo menos 11 pacientes hospitalizados en estado grave, de los cuales dos son menores de edad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/editorial.aristeguinoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/tlaxcala-sindrome-guillain-barre-enfermedad-salud-21032024-700x438.jpg?resize=640%2C400&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde inicios de marzo, la secretar\u00eda de salud estatal emiti\u00f3 una alerta epidemiol\u00f3gica por su propagaci\u00f3n. Hasta el momento se han documentado 66 casos con par\u00e1lisis fl\u00e1cida aguda o sospechosos, de los cuales 26 est\u00e1n confirmados como S\u00edndrome de Guillain-Barr\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zamudio aclar\u00f3 que la \u00fanica relaci\u00f3n entre las personas diagnosticadas con la enfermedad es la&nbsp;ingesta de pollo contaminado, y hasta ahora consideran que el alimento es el portador de la bacteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los s\u00edntomas del s\u00edndrome Guillain-Barr\u00e9?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta&nbsp;enfermedad&nbsp;es un trastorno del sistema nervioso poco frecuente por el cual el propio sistema inmunol\u00f3gico ataca a las c\u00e9lulas del sistema nervioso, incluidas las neuronas, provocando debilidad muscular y a veces par\u00e1lisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con la<strong>&nbsp;Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS),<\/strong>&nbsp;pueden verse afectadas personas de todas las edades, pero es m\u00e1s frecuente en adultos y en el sexo masculino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los casos, incluso los m\u00e1s graves, se recuperan totalmente, detalla el organismo de la <strong>ONU.<\/strong> Sin embargo, algunos padecen da\u00f1os del sistema nervioso a largo plazo. En casos muy raros, hay personas que han muerto de SGB, generalmente por presentar dificultad para respirar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No obstante, la mayor\u00eda de las personas con esta afecci\u00f3n deben ser hospitalizadas para recibir tratamiento. Entre sus s\u00edntomas se encuentra debilidad u hormigueo, que suelen empezar en las piernas y pueden extenderse a los brazos y la cara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En algunos casos puede producir<strong> par\u00e1lisis de las piernas<\/strong>, los brazos o los m\u00fasculos faciales. En el 20% a 30% de los casos se ven afectados los m\u00fasculos tor\u00e1cicos, con lo que se dificulta la respiraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A esto se suma que los casos graves pueden verse afectadas el habla y la degluci\u00f3n. Estos se consideran <strong>potencialmente mortales<\/strong> y deben tratarse en unidades de cuidados intensivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/editorial.aristeguinoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/tlaxcala-sindrome-guillain-barre-enfermedad-salud-2-21032024-700x438.jpg?resize=640%2C400&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se contagia el s\u00edndrome Guillain-Barr\u00e9?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los s\u00edntomas suelen durar pocas semanas y la mayor\u00eda de los casos se recuperan sin complicaciones neurol\u00f3gicas graves a largo plazo, aclara la OMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La aparici\u00f3n del s\u00edndrome es precedida a menudo por infecciones bacterianas o v\u00edricas. Asimismo, puede ser desencadenado por vacunaciones o intervenciones quir\u00fargicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La causa exacta del s\u00edndrome de Guillain-Barr\u00e9 se desconoce. Sin embargo, dos tercios de los pacientes aseguran haber tenido s\u00edntomas de infecci\u00f3n en las seis semanas anteriores.
